The Real Estate CEO

Who Rediscovered His Purpose.

When he first reached out to me, he was already one of the top real estate leaders in Florida — a Dominican immigrant who had fought his way from nothing to becoming the “Real Estate Ninja,” leading a thriving organization with hundreds of agents in his downline. On the outside, he looked unstoppable. But behind that success, something had stalled. The market was shifting, his team had plateaued, and he could feel the fire that once drove him beginning to dim. He wasn’t burnt out — just overwhelmed, uninspired, and quietly unsure how to rise to the next level without losing himself in the process.

What he really wanted was something deeper than business strategy. He wanted to feel alive again. He wanted clarity in who he was becoming, a leadership style rooted in faith and service, and a mission big enough to rally his team not just around goals, but around a vision that meant something.

In the fall of 2021, he flew me to Puerto Rico to help him reset not just his team, but his own identity as a leader. After facilitating a leadership retreat with his organization, I stayed with him, his wife, and his son in their beautiful, quaint apartment right up against the beach. Every morning we’d sit on the balcony overlooking the ocean, working through John Maxwell’s book, “Significance” and diving into the story of his life — the sacrifices he made coming to America, the pain he overcame, the values that shaped him, and the quiet longing he carried to make a deeper impact.

One morning, after sharing pieces of his story he had never processed before, he said the sentence that changed everything:
“Significance isn’t about people looking at me — it’s about adding value to others.”

It was like something inside him clicked into place.

From that moment on, he returned to his business differently. He prioritized time with his family and his faith. He stopped operating from scarcity and pressure and started showing up as a voice of transformation for his team — calling them higher, inspiring them with a clear vision, and leading from a place of grounded confidence. He wasn’t hunched over anymore. He walked with strength, humility, and a renewed sense of who he was and what God was asking him to build.

And everything changed.

This is what it looks like when clarity ignites purpose.

His team nearly doubled their revenue. He attracted top influencers into his downline with ease. He was later recognized as one of Success Magazine’s Top 125 Most Influential Leaders. But the real transformation wasn’t the growth — it was the man he became. He no longer needed to prove anything. He knew who he was. He knew what he carried. And he knew that his purpose was to elevate others, not chase the next accomplishment.

Today, he leads with a presence that is steady, alive, and unmistakably authentic. Not from a need to be seen, but from a deep conviction that his story, his identity, and his leadership exist to serve.

This is what it looks like when when a leader steps fully into the identity God designed for him.
